BABA

The Build America, Buy America Act (BABA) establishes federal guidelines for securing financial assistance across key industries, including ours. In our sector, compliance with BABA is mandatory for participation in the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) Program, a transformative initiative providing over $40 billion to expand high-speed internet access across all 50 states and U.S. territories. 

BABA mandates two primary requirements: that products be manufactured in the United States and that at least 55% of the materials within each product are sourced domestically. 

Product Usage

To qualify for BEAD Program funding, only BABA-compliant products are eligible. Therefore, certifying BABA compliance is essential. While many companies may need to adjust their supply chains or practices to meet BABA standards, Iceberg Cabinets remains steadfast.
